Vaccination and Physical Examination

There are potentially fatal diseases that can be prevented through proper vaccination of your animal, e.g. parvovirus in dogs. Please note that each vaccination includes a thorough clinical examination of your pet. This will allow us to pick up on any medical problems early.

Quirindi Vet Clinic's recommended vaccination schedule is as follows.

For Dogs

Initially

6-8 weeks

C3 (Distemper, Hepatitis, Parvovirus = DHP)

12-14 weeks

C5 (DHP + Kennel Cough)

16-18 weeks

C5 (DHP + Kennel Cough)

Annually

C5 (DHP + Kennel Cough)

QVC does also stock C3 vaccines that can be given every 3 years. Please note that kennel cough prevention remains as an annual vaccination.

For Cats

Initially

6-8 weeks

F3 (Herpesvirus, Calicivirus, Feline Enteritis Virus)

12-14 weeks

F3

14-18 weeks

F3

Annually

F3

Other small animals and livestock
